Chicken Village, Dalat, Vietnam

There are many theories as to why the government built a 30 foot tall concrete chicken in the middle of this village. One is that it would get the villagers to return to their original home from the mountains where some men were in the illegal timber harvesting business. Some villagers admit that they don't even know why it's there.
