Boreen Point to Rainbow Beach
When we woke up in the carpark close to Boreen Point, we made some coffee (just buy a little bottle of espresso, some powdered milk and some water.  Her the water with your portable stove and the espresso (just a littel unless you want a huge pop, a a little milk (after you make it of course) and the water.  Yalla!  You have a Flat White at the fraction of the price you pay at a cafe.  After getting our coffee fix it was time to grill.

"Grill?"

"You bet! Steaks for breakfast baby, we are on the rode now!"

After steaks from,

"the nasty grill!"

it was time to head out.  We had enough of the Magpie (a bird that looks like a crow or a raven with white paint split all over it) swooping down at us.  It was protection it's nest.

We arrived in Rainbow Beach on Tuesday, October 3rd.

We stayed at a place called The Rocks Backpackers Hostel.  It's YHA affiliated and was a really nice place.

That night we went up above town to The Carlos Sand.  It was absolutely spectacular.  It was so beautiful it actually brought a tear to Joel's eye.  If you ever in Rainbow Beach you simply must see it.
The thing that looks like a snake or a phallic symbol is actually my shadow lengthened by the sun over one of the most magnificent places I have ever seen -- The Carlos Sand Blow, on Rainbow Beach, Australia.     -Joel
